How do I request lessons?

It’s simple! Just click the “get started” link and fill out the form. It’s quick and easy. After you submit your request, we’ll assign you a teacher within 48 hours. Your teacher will be chosen based on your specific needs. This will include a scheduled day and time for your trial lesson and information about your teacher. 

What are lesson rates?

Online lesson rates are $30.00 per half-hour lesson and $50.00 per-hour lesson. Group rates may apply for multi-student households. In-home rates are $40.00 per half-hour lesson and $72.00 per hour lesson. Group rates may also apply for in-home lessons. In-home lessons are only available within the Monmouth County New Jersey area. 

How does billing work?

Your first lesson is a free trial lesson! If you choose to continue, our billing schedule is month-to-month.

Payment is accepted through PayPal or Venmo. 

What is Tutorbird?

Tutorbird is a learning management system designed to help students, teachers, and parents! We will give each student access to Tutorbird after the initial trial lesson. Teachers post-practice materials and lesson notes from each class. Students and parents also have access to scheduling, billing details, and more.

Cancellation Policy

24 Hour Cancellation
24 hours notice must be given in order to cancel a lesson. If a student cancels a lesson with a 24 hour notice, make-ups will be given at times and dates within the instructor’s schedule or can be arranged at any mutually agreeable time.
Same-day cancellation
If the student cancels on the same day as the lesson, the lesson will be forfeited and there will be no make-up, or refund for that lesson.  The payment for the cancelled lesson cannot be applied to future lessons. 
No Call/No Show
If the student does not provide notice of absence it is considered a No Call/No Show.  There are no make-ups or refunds for No Call/No Shows.  The payment for the missed lesson cannot be applied to future lessons. 
Illness and Emergencies
In the event that a student falls ill or has a family emergency,  the student will have a choice to make-up the lesson or apply the payment to next month’s lessons.      
Instructor Cancellation
In the event that the instructor needs to cancel a lesson, the student will have a choice to make-up the lesson or apply the payment to next month’s lessons.
